Established in 2001, the Advanced Fuel Cycle Initiative (AFCI) University Fellowship Program is part of the AFCI program's desire to support university students and university programs - particularly those students and programs that will help strengthen the development of nuclear-related fields. This program also supports the stability of the nuclear infrastructure and develops research partnerships that are helping to enlarge the nation's nuclear science technology base.

No fellowships were awarded in 2009.

Please check back for news of a possible new fellowship in 2010.
